UFC divisional rankings: Thiago Santos climbs at mild heavyweight with win over Johnny Walker

Thiago Santos confronted one thing close to a must-win battle in the principle occasion of this previous Saturday’s UFC Battle Night time. Santos entered his mild heavyweight battle with Johnny Walker on a three-fight shedding skid and much from having earned a second alternative at a title shot.

Santos managed to edge out a slim resolution, scoring his first win since February 2019, when he defeated Jan Blachowicz, the person who now holds the 205-pound title. With the win, Santos strikes up one spot to No. 9 within the CBS Sports activities UFC Divisional Rankings.
