Senate candidate Herschel Walker cancels fundraiser after donor’s use of vaccine-needle swastika on social media

Republican candidate Hershel Walker, the previous NFL participant working for U.S. Senate in Georgia, canceled a fundraiser on Wednesday after the occasion’s host was condemned for utilizing a profile image of a swastika product of vaccine syringes on social media.

The Democratic Celebration of Georgia’s Dan Gottlieb mentioned in a press launch that “Herschel Walker defended a swastika, and canceling a fundraiser doesn’t change the truth that he didn’t condemn a hateful, anti-Semitic image.” 

Walker’s marketing campaign formally launched in August and has already raised over $3.7 million in his bid to unseat the Democratic incumbent, Senator Raphael Warnock. Former President Donald Trump inspired Walker to get into the race. It is anticipated to be a hard-fought and really costly marketing campaign, with Cook dinner Political Report ranking the race as “lean Democrat.” 

Walker has refused to say whether or not or not he’s vaccinated.
