UP Releases Rs 160 Crore For Nearly 5 Lakh Flood-Affected Farmers

The Uttar Pradesh authorities on Thursday stated it has launched Rs 160 crore for offering help to round 5 lakh farmers who have been affected by the floods in 44 districts of the state.

The federal government has allotted the reduction bundle after assessing the crop losses, an official assertion issued right here stated.

The chief minister has additionally instructed officers to present acceptable and quick compensation to the farmers affected by the floods, it added.

The method of injury evaluation has been intensified within the flood-affected districts, it stated.

In response to division officers, a loss evaluation of Rs 180 crore was assessed, of which Rs 160 crore help has been launched to over 4.77 lakh farmers by the State Catastrophe Response Fund, it stated.
