Union Minister for Highway Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will lay the muse stone for 25 Nationwide Freeway tasks of whole size 257 km with an funding of Rs 11,721 crores in Jammu on Wednesday.
As per an official assertion launched by the Ministry of Highway Transport and Highways, these tasks will present all-weather connectivity between Jammu and Kashmir valley. These are strategically essential for swift motion of defence forces together with agricultural, industrial and socio-economic progress of the area, the ministry mentioned.
It additional said that the tasks will join all main roads main to varied district headquarters and can assist in the technology of employment and self-employment alternatives.
“The tasks will contain Rehabilitation and upgradation of some sections, development of Viaduct and tunnel and Rectification of black spots,” the ministry mentioned.
