Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim died on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, on the age of 91. On this “Sunday Morning” report that initially aired October 22, 1995, host Charles Osgood interviews Sondheim about his physique of labor, from “West Aspect Story,” “Gypsy,” and “A Humorous Factor Occurred on the Approach to the Discussion board,” to “Sweeney Todd,” “Into the Woods,” “Ardour,” and “Firm,” a revival of which was enjoying to sold-out audiences. In addition they talk about his mentor, Oscar Hammerstein II, and the significance of academics.
