
The Jharkhand Police on Sunday mentioned it has detained three individuals who had been part of a gaggle that allegedly compelled Kashmiri merchants to chant ”Jai Shri Ram” and ”Pakistan Murdabad” in Ranchi.
A 34-year-old man from Kashmir, who makes a dwelling by promoting winter garments, lodged a grievance with the police on Saturday stating {that a} group of round 25 folks attacked him and another merchants from the union territory in Ranchi’s Doranda space and compelled them to chant ”Jai Shri Ram” and ”Pakistan Murdabad”.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren retweeted the hyperlink to the video and sought strict motion in opposition to the culprits.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Surendra Kumar Jha instructed PTI that an investigation into the case is underway.
“We’ve detained three individuals in reference to the incident. An investigation has been initiated into the matter and motion will probably be taken in opposition to anybody discovered responsible,” he acknowledged.
