The police arrested three folks and recovered 193 stolen cellphones value over Rs 19 lakh from them in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, an officer stated on Monday.
Based on officers, the telephones had been amongst a number of 8,990 that had been looted from a truck on the Uttar Pradesh-Madhya Pradesh border in early October whereas being transported from a manufacturing unit in Better Noida to Bengaluru.
“The accused had been arrested on Sunday after they had been going in direction of Agra to get rid of the telephones,” police official Martand Prakash Singh stated.
The arrested accused had been recognized as Shahbuddin of Mathura and Pawan Kumar and Raju Mandal from Delhi, the police stated.
