The International Olympic Committee claims to have held a second video call with Peng Shuai and says the tennis star “appeared to be safe and well, given the difficult situation she is in.” But that’s not good enough for the Women’s Tennis Association, which canceled all future tennis tournaments until Peng’s safety can be guaranteed.
