The Kathua Police on Sunday recovered unlawful 950 bottles of 100 ml every of Cocrex and Maxx cough syrup-like contraband and arrested 4 inter-state drug peddlers in addition to seized one Vary Rover at Govindsar in Jammu and Kashmir.
Appearing on a tip-off, senior police official RC Kotwal mentioned {that a} group of Kathua police intercepted a automobile – the Vary Rover – which didn’t have quantity plates.
On the interception, the police recovered 950 bottles of “Cocrex and Maxx” cough syrup-like contraband.
Later, the police arrested 4 individuals, together with three Delhi-based drug peddlers. They’ve been recognized as Vikram Sharma (55), a driver, from Jammu and Sunny (38), Hrithik Soni (21), and Pardeep Sapra, all residents of Delhi.
A case has been registered beneath Sections 8, 21, 22, and 29 of the NDPS Act.
