Bihar Minister Jivesh Mishra has termed the Muzaffarpur boiler blast in a noodle manufacturing facility that occurred on Sunday morning and claimed the lives of at the very least seven labourers and left seven injured, an “incident attributable to misoperation”.
Talking to information company ANI on Sunday, Mr Mishra stated, “The manufacturing facility was established in 2020 after it met all of the required parameters for establishing a manufacturing facility. The certification of the boiler that blasted was performed in Could 2021 by the division.”
“Prima facie, plainly the incident occurred attributable to misoperation. A probe has been ordered. We will not say something substantive till it is performed. The state authorities has introduced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the households of the deceased,” he added.
