Jharkhand Government Extends COVID-19 Restrictions Till January 31

Jharkhand reported 3,258 new circumstances, 3,351 recoveries and 7 deaths on Saturday.


Amid a surge in coronavirus circumstances, the Jharkhand authorities on Saturday determined to increase the current COVID-19 associated restrictions within the state until January 31.

Underneath the prevailing restrictions, that are in place since January 3, all academic establishments will stay closed however official work shall be allowed with 50 per cent capability.

All stadiums, parks, gyms, swimming swimming pools, vacationer locations will stay closed.

A most of 100 individuals are allowed in gatherings for weddings and funerals.

Markets shall be shut down at 8 pm. Chemist outlets, eating places and bars are allowed to stay open. Spiritual locations will stay open.

In the meantime, Jharkhand reported 3,258 new circumstances, 3,351 recoveries and 7 deaths on Saturday.

Additionally, 14 new circumstances of the Omicron variant have been present in Jharkhand on Saturday.

“14 circumstances of Omicron variant present in Jharkhand in the present day. 87 samples had been despatched to Bhubaneswar for genome sequencing. Out of 87, 14 are confirmed circumstances of Omicron and 1 Delta variant detected,” stated Arun Kumar Singh, Extra Chief Secretary.
