Flight Operations Suspended At Amritsar Airport After Hoax Bomb Call

Amritsar airport authorities Thursday suspended flight operations for a while after they obtained a name from an unidentified individual {that a} bomb was in a airplane that landed right here from Singapore.

A radical search operation was carried out within the airplane by the CISF personnel, officers stated, including nothing objectionable was discovered from the airplane.

Police stated the hoax bomb name was obtained by the airport director at round 5 pm. The flight that landed Thursday on the airport was scheduled to take off once more at 7.40 pm for Singapore.

The airport director stated after receiving the decision, a complete search operation was launched and nothing objectionable was discovered from the airplane.

The flight is cleared for takeoff to Singapore, he acknowledged.
