Religious Conversion Of Hindus Stopped Within 100 Days In State: Goa Chief Minister

Goa CM Pramod Sawant stated that SIT was fashioned to look into unlawful land acquisition matter.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday introduced that the non secular conversion of Hindus within the state stopped inside 100 days of his authorities assuming workplace.

A program was held at the moment at Panaji in Goa on 100 Days of Motion whereby Mr Sawant launched a booklet on the works achieved by the ‘double-engine authorities’ of the Bharatiya Janata Occasion.

Whereas talking on the program, he stated, “Our authorities has taken a troublesome stance on non secular conversion. We stopped the conversion of Hindus…which was occurring earlier.”

“Non secular conversions occurring for years have been stopped…We fashioned SIT to look into unlawful land acquisition matter,” he added.

Earlier in Could, Mr Sawant stated that the BJP authorities has made a budgetary provision of Rs 20 crore for the reconstruction and restoration of temples and heritage websites destroyed through the Portuguese period.
