Teenager Drowns While Clicking Selfies With Friends In Jamshedpur: Police

A 16-year-old boy drowned in a river in Jharkhand’s East Singhbhum district on Wednesday when he was clicking selfies along with his mates, police stated.

Vikrant Soni alongside along with his brother and 4 mates went to the Kharkhai river’s Baroda Ghat in Bagbeda police station space of Jamshedpur, they stated.

When clicking selfies, he slipped into the river and the robust currents swept him away, police stated.

Vikrant’s mates panic and ran away, whereas his youthful brother was making an attempt to save lots of him. However he too began to drown, an officer stated.

Nevertheless, the locals rescued him, he stated.
